Wardpark Film & Television Studios

Wardpark Film and Television Studios is currently the only elite film and television studio in Scotland. The site has approximately 200,000 square feet of studio space and includes five sound stages, along with production offices and workshops, together with an external green screen area.

Home to the Outlander production the site employs over 100 full time staff and is in full operation most of the year round.

With this in mind it was essential that all fixed wiring inspection and testing works were carried out during the annual staff summer holiday shutdown to avoid any disruption and keep downtime to an absolute minimum.

Falcons engineers were on site during the shutdown period to carry out the fixed wiring inspection & testing of the entire electrical installation and submit a report on any defects and observations made during the visit.

The works were completed on time and the entire electrical system was back up and running before the studios returned back to business as usual.
