Honeywell Aerospace Edinburgh – Electrical Installation & LV Distribution Board Upgrading

Honeywell Aerospace (Formerly Com Dev International) manufacture innovative technologies for more efficient motor vehicles and aeroplanes around the world.

Following the successful completion of the fixed wiring electrical installation condition report and thermal imaging survey of the entire site, Falcons Engineers were appointed the complex task to upgrade much of the LV Sub main distribution system within the premises. This involved the stripping out of many redundant distribution boards and associated wiring systems within a very short timeframe.

The old distribution boards were then replaced with a new Schneider distribution system. The bulk of the works’ were carried out at weekends in order to avoid minimum disruption to the day to day business activities that take place at the site.

All works were programmed over a several week period and completed on time and within budget to the client’s full satisfaction.

Since then Falcon have continued our business relationship with our client and have been involved in the delivery of many complex small to medium sized turnkey electrical installations.
