From a small commercial office to a fully operational large water treatment plant we have decades of experience in all types of working environments.

However, it’s fair to say that we’re experts in industrial electrical work – for the past 40 years we have been working for big manufacturing and production clients, including, INEOS, West Fraser (Norbord) and OI Manufacturing just to name a few.

As well as electrical expertise, our team offers a quick turnaround for electrical installation work and compliance services.

The rest of our work is in the commercial sector including leisure centres, hotels, schools, universities, call centres retail and distribution facilities.

We offer a range of specialist services too in the Design and Building Of Automated Electrical Control panels and the Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations.

We only install quality products and the very best materials which are sourced from reputable suppliers and wholesalers based within the UK. Additionally our electrical installation works are fully guaranteed for a minimum period of 12 months and we are fully audited and accredited by the NICEIC & SELECT to give our clients the peace of mind that work is done to the highest of standards.

We are based in Falkirk, in the Centre of Scotland. This means Falcon Electrical are ideally located to deliver our wide range of electrical installation and testing services in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perthshire, Stirlingshire, Fife and across the rest of the country.

The beginning

Falcon Electrical was formed back in 1984 by our former Managing Director Jack Gammie. Having been involved within the electrical contracting industry onshore and offshore all his life it was his vision to form his own company to incorporate years of valuable experience and apply it to a business with a sustainable vision for future generations to come.

The early days

In the early days Falcon specialised in the supply and installation of railway platform and street lighting projects. From hand digging the cable trenches to carrying out the final electrical connections. Falcon went on to delivering these services in almost every train station throughout the country. Many of these lighting systems are still in full operation today 40 years later.

Where we are now

Our first office was based in Bandeath Industrial Estate in Throsk Stirlingshire in 1984 where we conducted our daily business operation until 1998.
Our business sales and our staff grew significantly in the 1980s and 1990s and we moved to a much larger facility in Fallin, Stirlingshire where we were based until August 2017 before moving to our newest facility in the town of Falkirk just a few miles from where it all started.
Some of our office staff and engineers from the early days are still with us over 35 years later and continue to work in the daily running operations of the company.

Our People

Falcon Electrical have an experienced team of Estimators, Project Managers, Admin and Accounts staff along with a team of directly employed electrical installation and testing engineers who are fully qualified and trained to the highest electrical industry standards.

We strive to deliver the very best of service and support to all our clients and we have invested heavily on training and development over the past 40 years. We have had many electrical apprentices who have won the apprentice of the year award on more than one occasion.

Many other electrical contractors will sub-contract to outside inspectors and engineers, but not Falcon Electrical. Our installation and testing engineers are employed directly. This helps to reduce costs, keep standards high and cut down on waiting time.

Some of our staff have over 50 years’ experience in the industry, we are passionate about what we do, we listen to our clients and we pay attention to detail and aim to build solid relationships with our clients regardless of how much money they choose to spend with us.

Few companies out there today can demonstrate business relationships lasting 40 years, but we can, and this is something our staff are very proud of.

Our Staff

Our staff resource management is conducted internally and externally using only fully accredited agencies and this is managed to the very highest standard by our Directors and internal management staff.

We have implemented a slavery and human trafficking policy along with an equalities policy. This is reviewed regularly to ensure that the objectives of our policies are met.

Our Suppliers

We only resource quality materials from accredited UK suppliers and ensure that the quality of our finished products meets the very highest industry standards.

All our suppliers are placed on our Approved Suppliers List once they have qualified and met the relevant criteria.

Energy

We work closely with our clients to deliver the very best energy efficient solutions and help to reduce our client’s carbon reduction targets. We have extensive in house expertise in delivering energy saving projects to our clients as well as having the resources externally to assist us with the newest products and technology available on the market.

Waste Management & Environmental

We always aim to reduce our own carbon footprint and recycle our waste and eliminate any materials going to landfill. We have implemented an environmental policy that is available to all our staff and our clients. This is always under review and is monitored and audited on regular intervals.

Health and Safety

This is central to everything that we do at Falcon, we value our staff, our clients and those who surround our business.

We take responsibility for what we do and that includes keeping everyone safe and making sure that everyone goes home safely at the end of each working day. This is our number one priority when it comes to health and safety.

We employ a fully qualified H & S advisor to ensure that we are kept up to date with all health and safety legislation and to make sure that our staff are provided with regular training from manual handling courses to powered access vehicle training courses.

We carry out method statements and risk assessments for all our daily tasks and provide all our staff with the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for the tasks they undertake and the environments that they are working in.

We provide regular online training seminars along with regular toolbox talks, and meetings with our staff to ensure that we are achieving our Health and safety requirements to the highest of standard.

All of our employees are Construction Skills Certification Scheme accredited (CSCS) with current grade cards.

We have implemented a health and safety policy that is always available to our staff and those who surround our business. This is audited internally and externally and regularly reviewed by our Directors and qualified Health and Safety Advisor.

Falcon are fully accredited and audited by CHAS (Contractors Health And Safety). In addition to this we are also Alcumus Safe Contractor Approved to give our client’s piece of mind that we are serious when it comes to staying safe.
